Overcoming limitations with a little imagination

Large format photography of objects can require either long exposure times or a lot of light from strobes. Given the proximity of the object to the camera, a small aperture is required and the camera’s bellows are extended. An upcoming project will involve making pictures of objects with Positive-Negative film (the New PN55 film by the Famous Format company), lit with strobes. My strobes are nowhere powerful enough to achieve f/45 or more.

So, to overcome this limitation, time to crank up imagination and create a little helper device to trigger one or more strobes multiple times to achieve a needed exposure.
